These volumes are speeches made by Marshall Perron while serving as a member of the Northern Territory parliament. They commence in 1977 before self-government and continue through his term as Chief Minister which commenced in 1988 until his resignation in June 1995. A chronological list of speeches and venues is located at the beginning of each year. The speeches include addresses to parliament on issues such as budgets, legislation e.g.the Rights of the Terminally Ill Bill(24 may 1995), and speeches on lighter topics such as parliamentary bloopers (1993), and from ceremonies.
